Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi

Well, it's been two years since I started this project. Every Sunday for the past 731 days, I have buried myself in the word of God, determined to make it from the start to the finish without skipping any line or any phrase. Today I finally came to the end of the Old Testament.

I cannot express to you the sad events that have eclipsed my life within the past two years. They surpass everything I thought I could handle.

And yet, I emerge from these two years with joy, with happiness, with sunshine, and with the promise that next week I get to begin reading the New Testament and I get to remember, all over again, how much God loves us.

God is faithful, and He is a passionate defender of our souls.

You just have to ask Him to live there.

Ezekiel 6 - 15:8

Today I am using two pictures I took two years ago in Joplin. These images are perfect to illustrate today's verses in Ezekiel, and they seem so current considering what just happened here in Texas and  Oklahoma (especially Moore).

The last picture was taken on Friday, and is a portrait of a wonderful Cadence International missionary family who will soon depart Texas on another mission overseas.
