The Royal Wedding
Today I am thankful for the Royal Wedding... for many reasons, but mostly because it gives the world something to talk about other than global warming, NCIS, or the casualty rate in Afghanistan.
When given the choice between crime or fluffy wedding stuff, it's always best to focus on the fluff.
Good luck Will and Kate!!! May you last much, much longer than Jon and Kate.
Oh, and please have lots of babies so they can wear my hats. :)

Pillows
Today I am thankful for pillows.
All of them.
From floor pillows to tea bag pillows to air bag pillows... all the way to the ever important, ever soft, ever changing, giant, colorful pile of pillows on my bed.
And I am thankful for my dog, who loves nothing more than napping directly on top of the freshly laundered pile of pillows on top of my bed.
Here's to soft, fluffy, dream-inducing pillows.

Today I Am Thankful For...
Today I am thankful that I am not an ant.
Ants get smushed. They have to walk everywhere they go. They live in brown houses and don't wear dresses.
I am not an ant.
I am glad about this.
I am, however, an aunt... And this is something I enjoy. So today I am thankful that I am an aunt and not an ant.

Giving Thanks.... Begins
This blog was born on Easter Day, 2011, when I decided to refocus.
